Did you hear about the 100 (or 500) year flood in Prague? My sister and I were there.

The interesting part of this picture is that they took out all of the sand to make sandbags. I am probably going to re-crop this to make that clearer.

You can see that the old town was flooded, and that the Charles Bridge doesn’t have much clearance left.

They cleared everybody but emergency personal off of the Charles Bridge.

The city turned off power for everything near the river. We were about 4 blocks from the river, so this was our evening lighting.

At 6:30am on wednesday we got informed that they were evacuating our hotel as a precaution, so we packed up to go to Vienna.
